The Valley Nature Center is proud to present the Last Chance Forever Raptor Show. Last Chance Forevers mission is to rehabilitate and release back into the wild injured, sick or orphaned birds of prey such as falcons, eagles, hawks, vultures and owls. In addition to caring for the birds each day, Last Chance Forever presents educational programs to children, civic organizations, and interested individuals, promoting a common sense attitude toward the interaction of mankind and the world in which we live (excerpt from Last Chance Forever, The Bird of Prey Conservancy Brochure). The Valley Nature Center is proud to team-up with Last Chance Forever for two Presentation Tours throughout the Valley schools. The first tour will be in the fall, starting in October or November. The second tour will be in the spring, in February or March. Please inquire about the exact dates for this year's shows. To cover expenses, a minimum of 600 in attendance is required. Campuses can merge at one location to meet the 600 requirement. A minimal fee is $1.50 per person (student or staff) is charged at the time of the presentation. |
