This awesome camp is offered to entertain and educate young people about both nature and photography. Participants will spend part of the time in a classroom setting to learn the basic functions and operations of digital cameras. At other times the youngsters will go outdoors to photograph nature subjects at the Valley Nature Center. Handouts containing information discussed during camp will be provided.

Thanks to a Texas Parks and Wildlife Grant, digital cameras will be available for use during the camp. However if participants want to bring their own cameras, both film and digital cameras are welcome. If you do bring your own camera, participants should bring their own film and/or flash cards, and will be responsible for any processing fees.

The four day camp runs from Tuesday through Friday, July
13th – 16th for youths aged 8-15 years old. Camp begins each
day at 10:00am and ends at 2:00pm.

A light lunch and drinks will be provided each day.

Cost of the camp is only $120. Space is limited.
